Introduction:
-------------
NOTE: You currently have the Sound Catalog Image files and
the Sound Catalog program, If you do not have the .VOC
audio files and if you want to hear the audio selections
that go along with each Image you must also obtain the
Sound Catalog Sound Files in SNDCATSB.ZIP!
Sound Catalog was developed to help distribute independent
music around the globe! Just imagine being able to hear
music and see graphic images created by original artists from
anywhere in the world. With the continued support of
Independent Music Lovers like you, and Musicians and
Recording Artists who are interested in increasing their
exposure to global levels, Sound Catalog will grow to become
one of many leading edge technologies created to further the
awareness of art and culture to Millions of people everywhere
in the world!
The software was developed and created through countless
hours of work to ensure that anyone who received it would
have a chance to SEE & HEAR the independent artists that are
featured in the Sound Catalog. Eventually Sound Catalog
will grow to several categories and you may have to download
more than just the few files required for you to view this
introductory Sound Catalog. But we are striving to keep the
software non-system specific and the file sizes will never
grow larger than 360K in size, to allow even those users with
basic PC's to obtain and use the Sound Catalog. The software
will also continue to maintain Sound and Video (OFF / ON)
toggles to let those who do not have a VGA color monitor
continue to hear the sounds and view other information about
the featured artists.
What's It Do?
------------
Sound Catalog let's you hear musical selections and view
graphic images / album covers from independent recording
artists on any IBM PC or compatible computer*. The rest is
left up to you. You can check out a review of the
selections, a biography of the group or place an Order! The
best way to continue receiving Sound Catalog is to support
the concept by ordering a selection. Pick something that you
like (or that you don't like), but please order something.
By toggling the Sound OFF you can just choose to look at the
graphics (VGA Color required!) or with the Video turned OFF
you can just choose to hear the music. You can even see and
hear the selections with a single 360K floppy drive PC! (See
the section below on Setup.)
* VGA Color required to view the graphic images.
* Sound Blaster sound card required to play the sound files
